Animals are becoming as diverse as NPCs in games. You may have spotted a few animals in the first Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer, but you’ll be surprised to know that we have at least 12 animal sightings within those 90 seconds. According to PS Dev Nima, some of the GTA 6 animals must be discovered, while others are involved in the mini-games we get to play. 

This post lists these animals and shows you how to spot them in the trailer below (with timestamps to help).

1. Loggerhead Sea Turtle

Remember the sea turtles in Finding Nemo? You can find three of them in the opening shot of the trailer at 0:10, right after Lucia says: “Bad luck, I guess.” They are to the right of the white yacht, but you’ll need to slow the video down to spot them.

2. Bottlenose Dolphin

One second later, and to the left of the yacht, you can spot four Bottlenose dolphins swimming towards the beach. Look at 0:11.

3. Shark (Mostly Tiger Shark)

At the same shot where you spot the dolphins at 0:11, you may also spot the shark to the left of the yacht and to the right of the dolphins. Judging by its size and length compared to the dolphins, it’s mostly a Tiger Shark. There’s also another shark at 0:12 close to one of the surfers.

4. Brown Pelican

At 0:12, you can see a flock of birds flying close to the sea level. Judging by their low height, behavior, and location (Florida), they are mostly brown pelicans. You can get a closer shot at them at 0:13 and 0:19.

5. American Flamingo

American flamingos are so abundant at 0:20 that you might miss many other animals in the background. You can spot some of them in the lake while the others are flying overhead.

6. Whooping Crane

The whooping crane is the tallest bird in North America and can reach up to five feet tall. You can spot two juvenile whooping cranes at the lower left side of the screen at 0:20. There are also a few adult whooping cranes in the background. Unlike juveniles, adults don’t have yellowish necks.

7. Mottled Duck

Count three flamingos at the bottom right corner of the screen at 0:21. Right above the third one, you can see two mottled ducks in the lake. These small ducks are about the size of a crow, making them hard to spot in the trailer.

8. Wild Boar

This one is a little hard to spot, but there’s a wild boar near the bush on the right side of the screen at 0:21. You should slow down the video to 0.25 and watch from 0:20 to 0:21 to spot it.

9. American Crocodile

You can spot American crocodiles in multiple shots in the trailer. They appear for the first time at 0:21 in the lake. Another crocodile being grabbed from a swimming pool by an officer appears at 0:43. Another sighting happens inside a store at 0:48. What if it’s the same Croc, and Rockstar will have a small storyline for it? 

10. White-Tailed Deer

There are a couple of white-tailed deer in the background at 0:21. You should pause the video to spot them as they get overshadowed by the flying flamingos.

11. Pinscher or Chihuahua

There’s a dog running with two people at 0:22. We weren’t able to determine whether it’s a Pinscher or a Chihuahua.

12. Green Iguana

It’s easy to get distracted by the cars and lights at 0:33 and miss the green iguana. Look at the person sitting on the sidewalk next to the white car’s open door. The iguana is on his right shoulder.

There are the 12 animals we were able to spot in the trailer. We should mention the “Beware of the dog” sign at 0:48, which has a picture of a rottweiler. Since we didn’t spot the dog itself, we didn’t include it on our list. However, there’s a good chance it’s there. Did you spot other animals? 

Whenever there’s an anticipated game, we always get our hands on some leaks. GTA 6’s trailer may have dropped in December of 2023, but clips of pre-alpha footage were already leaked back in September 2022, giving us more details about the game than the trailer that just dropped.

How did this happen? It’s because of an 18-year-old British hacker: Arion Kurtaj. This article doesn’t support what Kurtaj did, it only sheds light on the story of the Oxford hacker and how he damaged Rockstar’s development of the game.

The Beginning

In September 2022, without any warnings or speculations, 90 video clips and 200 GB of internal data from Rockstar Games were released online. This includes early footage of the unannounced game at the time: GTA 6.

This breach was orchestrated by 18-year-old Arion Kurtaj, a member of the Lapsus$ hacking group. The impact of that cyberattack was huge, raising questions about how an 18-year-old managed to hack a multimillion-dollar studio with supposedly top-notch security.

The funny bit is that Arion had recently hacked Nvidia and BT/EE telecom companies and was under police protection in a hotel. Yet, he still managed to bypass Rockstar’s security, reportedly using an Amazon Fire Stick, a keyboard, a smartphone, and a mouse.

He didn’t have access to a computer because his laptop was confiscated after his last cyber attack. Once he gained access to the files he needed, he infiltrated the company’s messaging system and posted a message that said: “If Rockstar doesn’t contact me on Telegram within 24 hours, I will release the source code.”

Upon receiving no response from the company, he released the data on a forum using the alias TeaPotUberHacker.

Arion Kurtaj’s Motive

Airon Kurtak is autistic, so it’s unclear why he was involved in the Lapsus$ group nor why he targeted tech giants like Uber, Nvidia, and, lately, Rockstar Games.

Even if he did admit why he hacked Rockstar’s security, little to no information about his motives was given to the public. Speculation ranges from financial gain to seeking notoriety. With how many people anticipated the game at the time, he certainly did gain notoriety.

The Breach and its Impact

Arion’s infiltration of Rockstar’s systems released 90 unfinished video clips from GTA 6. This spoiled major plot points, character animations, and gameplay elements.

This wreaked havoc on Rockstar’s development timelines and marketing strategies. We can also assume that a lot of investor confidence was shaken that day.

This cyberattack, along with the earlier attack on Cyberpunk 2077 sparked heated discussions about the vulnerability of game developers to cyberattacks and the ethical implications of sharing unreleased content.

Legal Repercussions

In December 2023, Kurtaj received an indefinite hospital detention order. The judge decided that he posed a big threat to the public since he didn’t give up his desire to start more cyberattacks.

He is to be kept in a secure medical facility because of the potential risk he poses. He had a 17-year-old accomplice (whose name is redacted because of their minor status) who received a shorter sentence due to their lesser involvement.

In the same month, the official trailer of the game was released, and the case was considered closed. However, that massive leak continues to serve as a reminder of cybersecurity fragility. After all, a teenager managed to cost Nvidia, Rockstar, and Uber nearly $10m.

Some people may argue that cyberattacks are victimless crimes. Indeed, nobody was physically hurt in that attack, but the financial impact still puts it under the crime category.

Final Words

Fans have wanted any piece of Grant Theft Auto 6 for years, but bold leaks like this act like spoilers rather than teasers. A lot of information about GTA’s mechanics, weapons, character animations, and inventory systems is available because of those leaks, not the trailer itself. Yet, the unauthorized release of video game clips remains a crime punishable by law, a truth that Arion learned the hard way.

Some people might look at those 90 seconds of a trailer that Rockstar gave us with underestimation. But die-hard fans who watched the trailer at 0.25 speed will gain the fruits of their rewards. This article will discuss hidden features and details that you may have missed in the new GTA 6 trailer below.

The Opening

The opening shot's purple sunset may have left you in awe, but if you look at the various vehicles driving on the road, you can spot the "Patriot" logo written on a white truck. The beer brand that first appeared in GTA 4 is seemingly coming back to GTA 6.

In the background, If you focus on the palm trees, you can spot a few guard towers around the prison where Lucia is most likely being kept.

Another faint feature in the background is what looks like a radio tower. Currently, the highest point in Florida is its WTVY TV tower, and a similar structure can be seen in the background.

If Rockstar is determined to get Leonida to look as close as Florida, then this tower is likely to be the highest spot. We already wonder how players are going to glitch their way there using the weirdest sorts of vehicles and stunts.

The Prison

We were blown away by the graphics on Lucia's facial texture, hair, reflection, and clothes that we initially missed the guard tower in the background. But once we noticed it, it confirmed our initial speculation.

If you check GTA 6's official page, you'll notice an ankle tag over Lucia's right foot. Later in the trailer, we can see both Lucia and Jason robbing a diner. The operation may have not gone as smoothly as expected.

The ankle tag may also be a method to prevent players from exploring the whole map too early, as Lucia will mostly be released on probation. This matches Nima's post on X, claiming that the first GTA 6 mission is a robbery.

The Beach

If you focus on the sea, you'll notice four dolphins on the left side of the screen and a large fish swimming away from a surfer. Could it be a shark? We don't know yet, but the sea creatures are definitely there. According to PS Dev Nima, the animals in GTA VI must be discovered, and they are involved in mini-games.

Later in the shot, you'll see a dodo plane on the top right of the screen. Remember the GTA Vice City's Dildo Dodo mission? That's the one. 

The following shot displays what we hope is in-game footage of NPCs on Vice Beach. You can see two people jogging in the background, a few people sunbathing, a small dog running, and a few other people walking around, with zero replicated NPC movements that we're used to seeing in games. Furthermore, Nima claims that the NPC interaction system from RDR 2 returns and that the cops and NPCs will remember you.

The crowd density in GTA 6 will be next level, and the graphics cards required to power up such a game will mostly be insane.

The Swamps

The swamp shot early in the trailer probably teases the Everglades area in Florida, with what seems to be an airboat moving through the swamp. We can already tell we'll have many vehicles to drive in the game.

In the swamps, we can also see colorful flamingos and a few crocodiles with a formidable display of grass and water texture.

Port Vice City

First things first, how did we know that it'll be named Port Vice City? It's from the "PVC" written on the blue container attached to the crane on top.

We can also spot four speeding boats in the port and a freighter in the background. The boats may be racing, or the front green boat may be running from the chasing blues.

We can't tell yet, but we can tell the striking resemblance between the boat shot at 0:23 and Michael Mann's opening of Miami Vice (1984).

Parties Will Be Everywhere

Nightclubs, beach parties, boat parties, and rooftop parties will likely be numerous in Grand Theft Auto 6, with various shots of the trailer showing people having fun and enjoying their time.

Some of the people seem to have a crazier definition of the word fun, with joyriders seen all over the trailer, girls dancing on moving cars, and people jumping down tables to smash them open.

We Will Have Three Counties

The game will feature Vice Dale County, Leonard County, and Kelly County. Kelly County is written over street signs like at 0:24 and 0:51. It is still unknown if the GTA 6 Map will evolve over time as Nima claimed on X.

Leonard County is written on a police car at 0:50, where a police officer is chasing a suspect. Finally, Vice Dale County is written on a Sheriff's badge in the GTA 6 Joker shot at 1:04. 

We May Have First Person Mode

At 0:48, you can see three cops breaking into a building from a fisheye view that seems to come out of an officer's camera. We're not sure if that is a cutscene or playable in certain sections of the game, but first-person mode is always welcome.

Social Media is a Thing in GTA 6

The trailer shows multiple shots through social media of fictional characters. This also confirms Nima's information that missions and events are broadcasted on News and Social Media. Examples of those are:

●      The boat party at 0:42

●      The pool alligator at 0:43

●      The dancing car lady at 0:44

●      The street party at 0:47

●      The gas station suspect chase at 0:50

●      The road rage at 0:51

●      The crazy driver at 0:52

●      The Karen at 0:58

That's right, Karens are apparently a thing in GTA 6. For those of you who don't know, the word "Karen" is a stereotype of unreasonably entitled people who seem to complain about everything. They're often party poopers, and they can call the cops on you for basically no reason.

The Karen in GTA 6's trailer doesn't seem to be messing around, though. For a reason we don't understand, she's holding two hammers and threatening whoever is taking a video of her. The two hammers; however, can be a confirmation that we can dual-wield weapons.

Our Two Protagonists are in a Relationship

Last but not least, the trailer shows how Jason and Lucia are most likely in a relationship. The way they exchange the word "trust" at 1:14 essentially means they're trusting each other with their lives. It's worth noting that according to Nima, Jason and Lucia live in the same house.

Having so many details jammed into 90 seconds is nothing short of crazy, but we're all about taking in every bit of it. We waited over 10 years for a treat, and we're finally getting a bit of it. Rockstar Games announced GTA 6 in December 2022, after about a decade since the release of the fifth installment of the game. Initially, the announcement was set for December 5th. Yet, after a major leak, the creators had to release the trailer ahead of schedule.

This gave us tons of new information on the game, from the locations to the identity of the main protagonists. On top of that, Take Two, Rockstar’s parent company shared news of the game’s supported consoles.

Grand Theft Auto 6 Announcement Overview

Back in February 2022, Rockstar Games announced that GTA 6 was officially in development. To celebrate its 25th anniversary, the company planned to release a trailer to tease the highly anticipated game. Unfortunately, a few months later, footage of the unfinished version leaked online in September.

18-year-old Arion Kurtaj released about 3GB of data showcasing the main characters and a snippet of the gameplay. This came as a major blow to Rockstar Games, which led the company to adjust its announcement timetable.

Lucky for us, this meant the GTA 6 Trailer 1 came out a little early! After Rockstar Games announced GTA 6, fans from all over the globe scoured the internet for news about the video game. GTA 6 Trailer 1

We can’t talk about the GTA 6 announcement without dissecting the trailer. Starting with the first one, we got to see quite a few new details about the game.

Right off the bat, we learn the name of our main protagonist, Lucia. The opening scene of the trailer features a snippet of the character wearing an orange jumpsuit. So, we can assume that she’s had at least a few run-ins with the law. Rockstar also announces that Lucia will have a Bonnie and Clyde-like vibe and backstory.

While we don’t know much else about her history, this was enough to get fans excited. That’s because Lucia marks the first female protagonist in GTA history.

As a result, the first GTA 6 trailer broke viewership records since its debut on YouTube, amassing over 72 million views in 24 hours.

GTA 6 Supported Consoles

One of the most important details we learned from the announcement is the GTA 6-supported consoles. For instance, the company stated that GTA Online wouldn’t support Rockstar Editor on old-gen consoles anymore.

So you won’t be able to access certain features on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. However, the clip editor will still be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X.

Sadly, this means any existing clips will disappear by the time GTA 6 comes out. Because of that, Rockstar Games recommends that you export and backup any data you want to save in the meantime.

In other news, according to the official press release, the game will launch on PS5 and Xbox Series X / S in 2025. As a side note, GTA 6 won’t be launching on PC.

This isn’t much of a surprise. Considering that the PC version of GTA 5 came over a year and a half after the original game release, we may be in for a long wait.

GTA 6 Setting

Most fans will be happy to know that GTA 6 is taking us back to a familiar setting. The game is set to take place in the fictional open-world state of Leonida, which is loosely based on Florida. Although, most of the action will happen around the fictionalized version of Miami, Vice City.

We can also expect to see locations like Port Gellhorn, Hamlet, Ekanfinika, and Lake Leonida. While fans are used to seeing these areas in a 1986 setting, GTA 6 promises a modern twist to the beloved streets of Vice City.

So, we can expect neon-soaked streets and a busy nightlife scene. Finally, as of now, Rockstar Games has yet to comment on the maturity rating of GTA 6.

From neon-soaked streets to brand-new buildings and points of interest. However, one of the most exciting facts we learned about GTA 6 is that the game will have a female protagonist.

This marks the first woman to take the lead in the GTA series. According to the leaks and the official trailer, our main character is Lucia, a Latina with a mysterious background.

Although we don't know much about the lead, there are a few details about the character floating around the web. Rockstar Games has been tight-lipped about the details of Lucia's backstory. But this didn't stop fans from investigating the female lead.

According to some rumors, Lucia is part of a massive gang and is the youngest member. Although she grew up around crime, she doesn't particularly enjoy the unlawful aspect of her life. This puts her at odds with her gang, which may lead to many action-packed scenes.

Traits

Sadly, the trailer doesn't reveal much about what Lucia can do as a character, but the leaks shed some light on the subject.

The videos paint Lucia as the brains behind the operation. She's tech-savvy and can break down complex issues into solvable puzzles.

Because of that, the character is in charge of aspects like technology and hacking. This perfectly blends with the modern twist on Vice City that Grand Theft Auto 6 adopted.

Relationships

Lucia narrates the official GTA 6 trailer, and she's supposedly talking to the main male protagonist. Rockstar has yet to confirm the character's name, but most fans refer to him as Jason. Furthermore, according to Nima, Jason and Lucia live under the same roof.

However, the company has announced that the main male and female leads are in a relationship and have a Bonnie and Clyde-like backstory.

Plus, we see Lucia talking to Stefanie, the counselor at the Leonida Department of Correction. While Stefanie appears to care about our female lead, it seems like the feelings aren't mutual.

What Did Fans Think Before the Trailer?

The initial rumors about Jason were a bit unconventional. The gaming community believed he’d be a gang member, yes, but one with a chill demeanor rather than the classic violent attitude.

With Bryan Zampella hinting he’d be involved in the game on social media, everyone believed he’d be the voice actor for the character.

Establishing Jason as a laid-back person, players thought his relationship with Lucia would be the polar opposite type. He’s calm and nonchalant, while she’s serious and determined. Of course, that theory was debunked when Rockstar Games’s official trailer came out.

You know how gamers are; they can take a ninety-one-second trailer and dissect every second to come up with crazy theories. You won’t believe what wild speculations fans have made this time. Let’s take a look.

Jason Won’t Make It to the End

The trailer shows that Jason and Lucia have a strong bond, one that’s built on mutual trust. The nature of that relationship wasn’t so different from Joel and Ellie from The Last of Us.

That’s why many of the game’s fans believe, like Joel, Jason won’t make it to the end of the game. Maybe he’ll get killed in a robbery, and Lucia will set on a path of revenge.

That theory doesn’t hold much ground, though, so the gaming community didn’t take it seriously. Furthermore, this contradicts PS Dev Nima, who claims that Jason and Lucia live in the same house.

Jason Is a Cop

This one has taken the GTA community by storm. It started with a few speculations, but fans kept digging until it gained solid ground.

Looking at the official poster of the game, you can see Jason wearing green cargo pants. That’s the same color as the Miami-Dade Police SWAT team’s uniform.

We also see him wearing his watch on the underside of his wrist to avoid reflections that might give away his spot, which suggests a military background. The bodycam scene was the deal breaker, though.

About halfway through the trailer, we see bodycam footage of a raid from a first-person perspective. Fans believe the camera was attached to Jason back when he was officially a cop.

Besides, if you take a close look at the other cops in the raid, you’ll notice they’re wearing the same pants he’s wearing in the poster. That further solidifies that theory.

Here’s where the fans are split: Some believe Jason is an undercover cop whose mission is to bring Lucia to justice. Others think he’s an ex-cop who got fired from the force, so he decided to pursue a life of crime.

Although the GTA community doesn’t know much about Jason, that didn’t stop them from theorizing what his objectives are.

On the 4th of December 2023, after years of leaks, rumors, and speculation, the long-awaited GTA VI official trailer landed on YouTube. Currently, that 90-second video has amassed an impressive 173 million views, and the numbers are still racking.

Typically, trailers end by giving us a few hints, such as a release date or the supported platforms, but not this time. Not Rockstar Games. From a company that’s notorious for spending years baking their games to perfection, all we got was “Coming 2025.”

They didn’t tell us the exact time or the supported platforms. There was no PlayStation, Xbox, Steam, or Epic Games logos, nothing. So, when is the GTA VI Release Date?

Narrowing Down the Release Date

Since we don’t have an exact date yet, we have to rely on our understanding of Rockstar’s game release pattern. Let’s take a few steps back to GTA IV and a few other Rockstar games to date.

GTA IV was initially released on the 29th of April 2008 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The PC version followed almost eight months later, in December of the same year. On the same date as GTA IV’s release, Midnight Club Los Angeles was also released on the same consoles and the PSP.

Two years later, Rockstar released Read Dead Redemption 1 on May 18h, 2010. Once again, only on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Sadly, we never got to see a PC version of this one.

One year later, on May 17, 2011, L.A. Noire came out on the same consoles, then the PC version came out six months later on November 14. You may have noticed that Rockstar has stuck to the first half of the year when it released its games on the PS3 and Xbox 360. However, once they started releasing for the next generation, most of their games came out in the second half of the year.

GTA V was released on the PS3 and the Xbox 360 on September 17, 2013. A year later, it was released on the next generation, the PS4 and the Xbox One, on November 18, 2014. The PC version came out five months later, on April 14, 2015.

To follow the pattern a bit more, the Anniversary Edition of Bully was released on December 8, 2016. L.A. Noire VR, first released on the HTC Vive, was on December 15, 2017. Moving further, Read Dead Redemption 2 was released on PS4 and Xbox One on October 26, 2018, and the PC version came out a year later on November 5, 2019. Last but not least, the nostalgic GTA Trilogy came out on all consoles of that generation on November 11, 2021.

Following that pattern, it’s safe to say that we can expect to see GTA VI in the second half of 2025, assuming that no delays push it back to 2026.

Why Is GTA VI Coming Out in Late 2025?

The primary reason that led us to this conclusion is the expected discrepancy between the official release date (which is yet to be revealed) and the actual release date. Let’s take GTA V, for example.

GTA V spent five years in the making with a budget of over $200 million. Yet, it was delayed three times until it was finally released on September 17, 2013. GTA VI, on the other hand, spent over 10 years in the making, with a freakishly large budget of $2 billion. That’s 10 times more than GTA V’s budget!

With a project that huge, a lot can go wrong, and Rockstar isn’t known to release an unfinished game. So, even if the official release date is announced to be in the first half of 2025, fans should be carefully excited, as Rockstar is no stranger to delays.

While that may be somewhat disheartening, it’s always better to get a polished, nearly bug-free game on the release day. Nobody wants another Cyberpunk 2077 incident

GTA 6 Website Going Live

GTA VI’s official page is up on Rockstar, and it gave us a little extra bit of information that wasn’t mentioned in the trailer. Once you open the page, you’ll see the game’s protagonists, Lucia and Jason, leaning on a muscle car.

Scroll your mouse wheel down, and the VI logo will cover the picture with “Welcome to Leonida (Rockstar’s version of Florida)” written next to it.

If you read through the written text, you’ll see that GTA VI is coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S, with no mention of the PC version. We can only assume that it’ll take Rockstar an average of 6-12 months until the PC port is out for grabs. We hope it won’t be pushed back to 2027.

Why Is the 2025 Release Date a Good News

With at least one year ahead before GTA VI is released, fans may find it hard to wait, and it is, but the good news is that the expected release date lines up perfectly with the refresh of the current generation consoles. PlayStation 5 Pro and Xbox Brooklin are expected to release later in 2024. With some delays, it should still make it before the release of Grand Theft Auto 6. We’ll have two new consoles with updated specs that can handle the incredible environment, life, and NPC density in the game.

There could even be some bundles where you can grab the console and GTA VI in one go. Just imagine the feeling of walking back home with these two babies under your arms. If fans have been waiting for over 10 years, then it’s only fair they receive a treat. Running a game on a smooth 60 FPS on 4K or even a stable 30 FPS on 8K doesn’t look far out of reach for the next console upgrades.

Based on Rockstar’s latest patterns, we can give ourselves a release window in the second half of 2025. However, with the little information currently available, it’s difficult to know for sure. Rockstar might surprise us all by announcing an early release date and actually sticking to it. But until we know more, we shouldn’t expect an early release in 2025.

If you browse the official GTA 6 page, you can see, and we quote: Coming 2025 to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. While it’s great that we get to experience GTA 6 with all its glory on the new generation consoles, one question remains up there: Will GTA 6 Be on PC?

Rockstar Games and PC

So far, we’ve gotten the silent treatment regarding the release of the game on PC, and Rockstar is no stranger to delaying the PC release by an average of a year ahead of the console release.

Still, will there be a PC version this time around?

Truth be told, it’s unlikely for a studio as big as Rockstar to skip a platform as huge as the PC for the release of its biggest game yet. Here is why:

●      GTA IV, GTA V, and RDR2 are some of the best-selling Rockstar games of all time. Despite a hefty delay, all of them had a PC port later on.

●      Consoles may get the jump ahead, but PCs always catch up and surpass consoles. It’ll be unwise for Rockstar to not allow powerful PCs to put the beauty of their game on full display.

So, we can assume that a PC version of GTA 6 is coming sooner or later, but the next question is: When?

GTA 6 PC Release Date Estimation

Let’s take a look at GTA 4, which was released on April 29, 2008, for PS3 and Xbox 360. It wasn’t until eight months later, in December, that we got to see the PC version.

GTA 5 was the next big anticipation, and it was released on the same consoles on September 17, 2013. Then, on November 18, 2014, Rockstar Released GTA 5 again for PS4 and Xbox One. Finally, five months later, we got the PC version on April 14, 2015. That’s around two years away from the release date!

RDR2 also had a one-year delay of the PC version, with the console version releasing on October 26, 2018, and the PC counterpart coming out on November 5, 2019. So, we can safely say that if the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions are coming out in 2025, the PC version may come out in 2026, if not 2027.

Why Won’t We Have a PC Version at Launch?

According to ex-Rockstar Mike York, console versions sell better and are easier to develop than PC versions.

For a game that took over 10 years of development for consoles, we can’t even begin how nightmarish it is going to be to release a PC port.

Fans may not fancy waiting a couple more years for the PC version, but they’ll still choose an early console version release instead of waiting two or even three more years for an all-around release.

GTA 6 Expected System Requirements

While not entirely accurate, and based on the projections of system requirements across releases, Sportskeeda estimated that the system requirements will be as follows:

In both cases, you’ll need at least 150 GB of storage space, preferably on a solid-state drive (SSD). It may be a huge chunk of space, but gamers are somewhat used to it. We’re looking at you, Warzone.

So, will Grand Theft Auto 6 be on PC? Yes. Will it be any time soon? Unfortunately not. We don’t expect a PC version of GTA 6 before 2026, if not 2027.

However, the console version release should give people the chance to experience the game and provide Rockstar with enough feedback to bake the game to perfection until it’s released on PC. For now, all we can do is wait.

When GTA 5 was the trending Rockstar game, Lindsey Lohan tried to sue Rockstar Games in 2014 because of the GTA 5 cover girl.

On December 5th, 2023, the GTA 6 trailer dropped, giving the fans 90 seconds of what the next generation flagship has to offer, along with another legal hiccup: the GTA 6 Joker. So, what’s the story?

Lawrence Sullivan: The GTA VI Joker

Known as the Florida Joker before the game’s trailer release, Lawrence Sullivan became the GTA 6 Joker after the trailer dropped.

On the same day of the trailer release, he uploaded a video on TikTok saying that the character appearing at minute 1:05 of the trailer below strongly resembles his appearance.

The character doesn’t have his exact facial tattoos, but he does seem to be inspired by him.

Lawrence ended his video by saying: “GTA, we gotta talk,” but three days later, he uploaded another video emphasizing more the fact that GTA, and we quote, “took my likeness and took my life.”

He also demanded “a million or two” as compensation for using his facial appearance without his permission.

Four days later, he dyed his hair pink and wore an orange suit to emphasize his case even more, saying that he was providing the biggest free marketing in the history of the company. He demanded an extra million and gave Rockstar Games three days to respond.

Three days later, you guessed it, another video. This time, he referenced the Lindsay Lohan case back in 2014, saying that she didn’t have a case, unlike him.

The trend kept going, with some other videos that include him trying to portray GTA’s gameplay in an obvious attempt to imitate a viral video that went live in 2016.

This video nailed GTA 5’s camera angles, ragdoll physics, gunfights, and overall atmosphere, unlike Sullivan’s video, which only included him getting in a car.

The GTA Joker: Changing the Approach

At the time of writing this, Sullivan’s last attempt was asking Rockstar to let him voice the character (plus giving him a few million, of course). At this point, it was getting so repetitive that even the comments were starting to make fun of the whole situation.

Roger Clark, the actor who voiced Arthur Morgan from RDR2, wanted a part of the fun too. He posted a video where he responded to the Grand Theft Auto 6 Joker, telling him that Rockstar Games know exactly what they can and cannot get away with.

He even told him to go get a job at Home Depot with that face of his.

For a game developer as established as Rockstar Games, it’s easy to tell that Lawrence Sullivan’s compensation efforts are going nowhere. He is getting some spotlight on TikTok, that’s for sure. But it’s unlikely that Rockstar will ever respond to any of his complaints, especially since, at this point, he’s the one trying to alter his appearance and clothing to resemble the character more.

The trailer we’ve been waiting for for over 10 years is finally here. At the time of writing this, it’s only been up for two months. Yet, it has an amazing 173 million views under its belt.

What is the Grand Theft Auto 6 Trailer Song?

GTA 6’s trailer song is Love is a Long Road. Rockstar Games brought this song all the way from Thomas Earl Petty’s 1989 first solo album, The Full Moon Fever.

The voice you can hear in the song is Tom Petty’s, and the song itself was written by him along with his guitarist, Michael Wayne Campbell.  Being the only song we can tie to GTA 6 at the moment, we can only hope that the full version will be available in the game on release day.

Tom Petty is one of those few artists whose live performance voice isn’t too different from the studio version, and we love him for it.

Is "Love is a Long Road" Suitable for GTA 6?

Saying suitable would be an understatement in this scenario, as the song perfectly fits the Miami Vice-like vibes you’d expect from the lively neon city and colorful beaches.

Also, fans think that there are some hidden meanings behind the choice of this song. For example, the opening line is “There was a girl I knew,” which may be referencing Jason’s relationship with Lucia.

We only hope that the past tense used in this line doesn’t imply that something tragic will happen in the end, though.

The title of the song itself may carry a meaning as well. Since the protagonists are in a relationship, the title may mean that both of them are going to have a long road before their story ends.

Love is a Long Road is currently the only song we have from the GTA 6 Trailer, and we’re not even sure it’ll be in the game. But until we get an update from Rockstar or, even better, another trailer, we’ll take what we can have for now.

As if Rockstar Games hasn’t been teasing us enough, now we know that it’s hiring influential musicians to work on the highly anticipated game GTA 6.

Yes, rapper T-Pain has recently revealed his involvement in the upcoming installment. Fans were both excited and disappointed when the rapper made that announcement.

Why? Well, to get that gig, T-Pain had to give up something he and his fans love. Let’s not waste any time and get to the gist of it.

Who Is T-Pain?

Fahem Rashed Najm, aka “T-Pain,” is an American rapper/singer/songwriter. He’s famous for blending contemporary R&B with hip-hop and using auto-tune to offer an electronic performance.

He’s one of the biggest names in the music industry today. So, you can imagine how thrilled the gaming community was to know he’s contributing to the new GTA 6.

It shows the developers are trying to offer an immersive experience, whether through the gameplay or the music.

T-Pain Revealing He’s Working on GTA VI

T-Pain’s involvement in the game came as a surprise to everyone. He didn’t actively announce it on his social media platforms or anything. In fact, GTA fans knew by accident!

The rapper was doing a livestream when one of the viewers asked why he was not on the GTA V NoPixel role-play server—GTA V roleplay is a famous mod that allows players, streamers, and content creators to create and live the life of an original character in the game.

When T-Pain received that question, he announced he was working on GTA 6. Apparently, the executives in Rockstar Games told the rapper to quit the role-playing servers. As enjoyable as they are, the roleplaying servers are illegal mods of the original GTA. The developers never consented to their publication but still let players enjoy them anyway.

Asking T-Pain to stop playing these variants isn’t unreasonable. They compared their situation to someone recording T-Pain’s music and people listening to that more than the original tracks. Obviously, the rapper wasn’t happy with that request because he enjoyed playing on these servers, but he understood.

In 2023, the executives of Rockstar Games recognized how popular and influential the roleplay variants have become. So, they acquired the modding teams behind the FiveM and RedM roleplay servers. 

That was an exciting initiative for the fans, as they believed they’d get an official roleplay option in GTA Online. However, T-Pain was furious: “Y’all told me I couldn’t do this s**t, then y’all team up with the people that enable the RP? Anyways, whatever!”

What Is T-Pain’s Role in GTA 6?

There isn’t a definitive answer to that question, as T-Pain hasn’t specified his role in his spontaneous announcement. He probably shouldn’t have said he was working on the game in the first place, but Rockstar lawyers can probably go easy on him. After all, he quit the roleplay variants for them!

Maybe his songs will be featured on one of the radio stations you play while driving, or he’s making an original track exclusively for the game.

It’d be mind-blowing if he appeared as himself on one of the missions, but we can’t imagine a scenario where that would make sense. Whatever it is, the fans will appreciate the rapper’s contribution to the game.

Ultimately, we don't know what T-Pain will add to the upcoming Grand Theft Auto 6, but we’re sure it’ll be amazing. After all, he had to quit playing the variant he enjoyed so much, so it has to be worth it!

Grand Theft Auto 6 can be a beautiful game of exploring and sightseeing, but the game is no stranger to violent, action-packed gunfights that players often tend to start just to test how capable they are against the GTA police.

For that, you’ll need guns. Lots of guns.

Also, it won’t hurt to throw in consumables and tools in the process. Armed with information from leaks and the trailer, this guide will show you every handheld item and weapon in GTA VI so far.

Assault Rifles

There’s only one AR that we can confirm so far. While we don’t know the exact name of the weapon yet, it’s based on the AK-47, sporting a considerably large magazine and a metallic black finish.

Sub Machine Guns

We currently have two submachine guns confirmed, the first being the game’s version of the Scorpion Mini-SMG in real life. This sub-machine gun has already appeared in GTA Online, but it’s expected to come back in GTA 6.

There’s also a micro SMG, which we think will be a better carry for stealth missions. Its design is based on the real-life UZI, a rapid-fire SMG that shoots 900 rounds per minute, making it one of the fastest but also hardest to control SMGs.

Sniper Rifles

We also have two confirmed sniper rifles so far. First, a bolt action sniper, which is originally made for far targets, but GTA snipers often run around while people with assault rifles hide in corners. We’ll leave it at that.

Bolt action snipers require manual reloads between every shot, but they often provide better damage, penetration, and maximum distance.

The second category we have is hunter snipers, which will mostly have a semi-auto mechanism for a better rate of fire in exchange for some damage fall-off. The design we have in the game is based on the L96A1, a real-life sniper rifle.

Throwables

We have four confirmed throwables so far: the frag grenade, the Molotov cocktail, the smoke grenade, and the stun grenade.

The frag grenade design is similar to the standard real-life M61 that you can find in most games. The Molotov cocktail is, well, a Molotov cocktail. You ignite it, throw it, and set everything on fire.

The smoke grenade is also based on a real-life grenade, the M18 smoke. It can be pretty useful when you have five-star police on your back.

Lastly, we have the flashbang or the “stun grenade.” It’s based on the real-life M84 stun grenade.

Sidearms

The only sidearm we have so far is a pistol inspired by the real-life PT92AF. This gun also appeared in GTA 5, 4, III, Vice City, and San Andreas. It’s safe to say that it’s here to stay.

Shotguns

We currently have a pump action shotgun confirmed in GTA 6, and it’s based on the real-life Mossberg 590. We’d love to have fully automatic shotguns like the AA12 or the HK CAWS, which go through enemies (and ammo) like butter.

Melee Weapons

The melee weapons confirmed so far include the baseball bat, the pool cue, and the golf club – all coming back from previous GTA games. Mostly, they will all knock out enemies without killing them.

Crowbars are also coming back from GTA V to make an appearance in its successor, along with a knife inspired by the UC-RB1 real-life design.

Heavy Guns

Two heavy weapons are coming to Grand Theft Auto VI. The RPG, which dates back to GTA 3, is coming back once more to GTA 6. It’s exceptionally useful in vehicular gunfights, but the inventory system in GTA 6 may make you think twice before grabbing an RPG. More on that soon.

A new weapon showing up for the first time in GTA 6 is the spear gun. It’s unclear what kind of advantage it will offer over other weapons. We’ll have to wait until we can try it out.

GTA 6 Confirmed Items

Besides weapons, many other items will be usable in GTA 6. Here’s what we have so far:

●      Backpack

●      Cigarettes

●      Body armor

●      Lock Pick (for locks)

●      Slim Jim (for car doors)

●      Flashlight

●      Binoculars

●      Cut-off tool

●      Food and drink items

●      Beverages like wine and soda

●      Immobilizer bypass (for exotic cars)

●      USB Drive

●      Jammer (to reduce the effectiveness of GPS tracking)

●      Zip Ties (mostly for taking hostages)

●      Taser

●      Trauma kit (for health replenishment)

You may remember that a recent leak from PS Dev Nima states that every in-game action requires a specific tool. 

The Inventory System

GTA 6 may have many weapons and items to choose from, but you won’t walk around with an arsenal like you were in GTA 5 and similar games like Watchdogs.

GTA 6’s inventory system is fairly similar to RDR2, allowing your character to carry two primary weapons and two secondary ones at max. Nima also claims that we can dual-wield weapons in Grand Theft Auto 6.

In RDR2, extra weapons were stored on your horse, we’re assuming that GTA 6 will allow you to store your weapons in your car. We’re still not sure of this feature, nor are we sure of whether you get to keep your weapons if the car blows up.

We also know that GTA 6 will allow you to drop weapons that you don’t need. There are also dedicated animations when you pick up a dropped weapon, adding more to the immersion. The RDR2 Eagle Eye System is also implemented in GTA6, according to Nima.

Customization

There’s no reason for Rockstar to take weapon customization out of the picture. If anything, it should be improved over GTA 5’s customization system.

However, so far, we have little to no information about how in-depth the customization will be.

Wrap Up

GTA 5 had 59 weapons. GTA 6 will likely have a similar range of weapons, if not more. We’re still to get our hands on the full list yet, but the amount of weapons we have already has us on our toes.

Until we get another update from Rockstar Games, these are all the GTA 6 weapons we know about.

With the new GTA 6 coming out next year, fans are wondering what kind of stunning cars they'll use to drive around Vice City. Well, we're here to put your mind at ease.

Breaking down each scene in the trailer and digesting every leaked information on the internet, we'll cover all the cars that might appear in the new GTA 6.

1. Albany Primo

The Albany Primo is a sedan car whose design is inspired by the classic Pontiac Bonneville. Seeing that vehicle in one of the opening scenes of the trailer was exciting but not surprising.

The car has been an integral part of the franchise for a long time. It was in GTA: San Andreas, GTA IV, and GTA V. It's only natural it'd make an appearance in the upcoming installment.

2. Albany Buccaneer

The Albany Buccaneer is based on the real-life Ford Fairlane, Buick Riviera. It's a muscle car that's also appeared in the previous installments of the game. You can see it at 0:46 on the right side of an intersection where cars are wildly drifting in circles.

3. Albany Buccaneer Custom

Identifying the Albany Buccaneer Custom in the first GTA 6 trailer was a challenge. It was in the art district's car-meet scene, which had too many vehicles for a clip that lasted a couple of seconds.

However, a small look behind that vibrant green PMP 700 will show you the shiny chameleon Buccaneer with the lowered suspension.

Seeing that customized vehicle was a huge deal for the fans, as car customization was one of the most enjoyable features in GTA V and GTA Online. So, knowing the developers might keep it in the new installment was reassuring.

4. Pfister Astron

Pfister Astron is one of the first vehicles we see in the opening scene of the trailer. The SUV is based on the Porsche Macan, but a few of its components are inspired by other Porsche Cayenne variants.

You're probably already familiar with it if you've played enough GTA Online.

5. Pfister Comet Retro Custom

The Comet Retro Custom appears parked in the middle of an intersection full of police cars. Rockstar Games first introduced this vehicle in GTA Vice City, but its design seems to have changed in the trailer.

Now, it has new stock trims, longer rear quarter glasses, and a different duck-tail spoiler. The Comet Retro is based on the Rauh-Welt 911 930, but the headlights and side skirts come.

6. Grotti Cheetah Classic

You can see the Grotti Cheetah Classic in the Ocean View Hotel scene. Its unique design, which resembles the Ferrari Testarossa, made it easily stand out in that scene.

How many cars do you know have massive grills on the back, dual circular tail lamps on both sides, and a narrow rear window?

Besides, it's appeared in GTA Online, GTA: Vice City, and GTA: San Andreas. Any fan of the franchise can spot this car from a mile away.

7. Grotti Carbonizzare

Although the Grotti Carbonizzare didn't have much space to shine in the trailer, it was still easy to spot. The sharp rear? The angular tail lights? The rear bumper with curved side edges? No one can miss that unique design.

Based on the Aston Martin V12 Zagato and the Ferrari F12, the Carbonizzare is one of the most famous sports cars in GTA V and GTA Online. It'll probably be as popular in the upcoming installment.

8. Grotti Furia

Grotti Furia made one of the most notable appearances in the trailer. At 0:26, you see a girl in a yellow dress standing in a car with an open roof and enjoying the wild vibes of Vice City.

Right in front of her, there's a guy in a Grotti Furia trying to record her. Inspired by the Pininfarina Battista, Grotti Furia started as a mission-only car in GTA Online, but it later became available for purchase in 2019.

We'll have to wait and see if we can buy it right away in GTA 6 or if the developers will make us work for it.

9. Pegassi Toros

The Pegassi Toros is the only car on this list that hasn't appeared in the trailer. However, it was part of the footage/images that got leaked in 2022. So, fans are expecting to see it in the new installment.

Since it made its first appearance in GTA Online in 2018, the car has been a fan favorite. With its Lamborghini Urus-inspired design and incredible engine power, who wouldn't want to take it for a spin in the beautiful Vice City?

10. Karin Futo

You can spot Karin Futo in the Dirt-Bike Dirt-Bags Weazel News scene at 1:07. Appearing in GTA IV, GTA V, and GTA Online, the car has quickly risen in popularity.

It draws inspiration from a variety of vehicles, including the Toyota AE86 Levin, the Nissan Skyline RS Turbo, and the Nissan Pulsar N13.

11. Oceanic Sedan

Only true GTA fans will appreciate the Oceanic Sedan appearing in the Ocean View Hotel scene. After all, the car has been a staple in several installments of the franchise, including GTA Vice City, Vice City Stories, and San Andreas.

So, seeing it in the new trailer brought back memories. It even had the classic yellow and white paint job.

12. Zirconium Stratum

We see the Zirconium Stratum in the first few seconds of the trailer among numerous vehicles moving on a bridge. The car has been part of the GTA world since the good old San Andreas days.

Its design is similar to the Honda Accord station wagon, although some argue it's inspired by the Saturn SW.

13. Imponte Ruiner

The Imponte Ruiner appears in the trailer, standing next to a man grabbing his crotch—a short but memorable appearance.

Rockstar Games first introduced this car to the franchise in GTA IV, and it's been a regular since. Think of it as a combination of third-generation Pontiac Firebird and Chevrolet Camaro.

14. The Dclass Tulip

The Declass Tulip had the most prominent appearance in the trailer. Not only do we see it up close while Lucia and her partner are fleeing from Port Gellhorn Part & Gun, but we also see it from the inside.

Although the fans have already seen it in GTA Online, it seems to have acquired a few design updates, like door/panel gaps and chrome trims.

GTA VI Main Protagonists

Right off the bat, let's dive into what we know about the protagonists of GTA 6. According to the trailer and recent leaks, Rockstar decided to continue with the trend of multiple playable characters that started with GTA 5.

So, with this new edition of the game, we'll have two main characters, Lucia and Jason.

Main Female Protagonist

If you've been a fan of the GTA series for a while, you know that there has never been a female main protagonist. However, thankfully, this will change with the sixth installment of the game.

Enter Lucia, a Latina with a big brain and an affinity for getting into trouble. In the first few seconds of the trailer, we see our female protagonist speaking to a counselor at the Leonida Department of Correction.

We also see her in an orange jumpsuit, which means she's likely had a few run-ins with the law. Although we don't know much about the reason she's in jail, you can spot her committing armed robbery in the trailer. 

Some fans speculate that Lucia is part of a larger gang. They also insinuate that our female lead is the youngest member of the group and doesn't particularly enjoy the crime aspect of her upbringing.

Other rumors portray Lucia as the brains of the operation. She's in charge of aspects like technology and hacking, which poses an interesting storyline.
