Now, while we may have to wait a little longer to get our hands on the full game, footage of GTA 6 leaked online. Plus, Rockstar Games has released a couple of trailers filled with all sorts of hints about the wild sights and sounds of GTA 6.

So, if you’re interested in getting a snippet of what the game is like, you’ve come to the right place! In this article, we’ll walk you through everything we know about the GTA 6 leaks. From the scenery to the characters, we’ll cover it all.

    Let’s dive in!

Grand Theft Auto 6 Leaks Overview

Grand Theft Auto is one of the most popular game series on the planet. Millions of users around the globe wait on pins and needles for any details about the game.

Rockstar initially announced GTA 6 in February 2022. The company shared that the game was in active development. This sent the GTA fandom into a frenzy, and people started scouring the internet for any news about the release.

So, when information about GTA 6 leaked online in September 2022, fans couldn’t contain their excitement. These leaks were a result of massive cyber attacks on Rockstar Games by 18-year-old Arion Kurtaj.

The hacker released over 3GB of footage from the game, including 90 videos that showcased the main characters and the landscape.

As you can imagine, the leaks spread like wildfire, with gamers dissecting every detail of the news.

Initially, Rockstar Games had scheduled the release of the first trailer for December 5th, 2022. Yet, because of the leak, the company was forced to work ahead of schedule.

As a result, the company published the trailer revealing all sorts of new details about GTA 6.

Aside from the trailer and the leaked information, Rockstar Games has shared a few tidbits about the games. This includes the main characters, gameplay, maps, and what we can expect from the latest installment of GTA.

What We Learned From the GTA 6 Leaks

Let’s dive into all the details we learned about GTA VI from the recent leaks.

    GTA 6 Release Date Predictions

As of now, GTA 6 is set to come out sometime in 2025. The creators didn’t specify exactly when, but this didn’t stop fans from speculating.

According to many online forums, people are hoping for a release sometime at the beginning of the year. The consensus is around March, but Rockstar Games has yet to confirm this.

    Compatible Platforms

Take Two, the parent company behind Rockstar Games, announced GTA 6’s compatible platforms in a press release. It confirmed that the game would be available for PlayStation 5 Computer Entertainment System and Xbox Series X|S.

As far as we know, the game is a current-gen exclusive. Plus, there’s no news about whether the game will arrive on PC or not.

However, if we go by past GTA releases, we can expect the game to launch on consoles first before arriving on PC at a later date.

Sadly, this means we may have to wait a couple of years before the computer version is available to the public.

    Characters Overview

For starters, the main protagonist of the game is Lucia. While we don’t know her full backstory, she appears in the trailer wearing a prison jumpsuit. So, we know she’s had a few run-ins with the law.

Besides that, we can see the female lead with an unnamed male character on several occasions. Some reports refer to the male protagonist as Jason, while others call him James, but his official name was never discussed.

Lastly, it seems like Lucia and the other lead share a Bonnie and Clyde-like bond.

    Locations Overview

It’s no surprise that GTA 6 is taking us back to Vice City. Yet, while the original installment of Grand Theft Auto featured the location in 1986, the new release appears to be set in modern times.

Plus, the trailer reveals a rural take on Florida that’s just as chaotic as the real state. We even get to see a few familiar spots like Starfish Island.

However, it’s unclear if we’ll be able to visit all the original locations from early GTA versions, like Malibu Club and Ocean View Hotel.

    Grand Theft Auto VI Trailer

The first GTA 6 trailer gave us a look at what Vice City will look like and confirmed the identity of the protagonists. It also allowed us to see a sneak peek of what the game had in store for us.

On top of that, this trailer set the tone for the scenery and visuals of GTA 6.

    Wrapping Up

In September 2022, news broke of a massive GTA 6 leak. An 18-year-old hacker released many details about the game before the trailer was even out.

This included information on the locations, characters, and even basic gameplay. Shortly after, Rockstar Games released the official trailer and announced the game would arrive sometime in 2025.

    • Hello gamers! While waiting for new details on GTA6, I am happy to announce that today, we released a new project that means a lot to us (and hopefully to you). MapMaster.io is focused on providing top-notch interactive games for the latest video games. This project took over five months to develop by an awesome team from Ukraine (yes, during the war), but despite the minor bugs that still exist and are being fixed, the finished product is amazing. While there are other websites that currently provide interactive maps, MapMaster is a bit different, as I am sure you'll notice. First of all, we have a clean interface without all the bling bling that can distract users. Second (and this is far more important), our team has tested all locations on our growing library of video games. In other words, you won't find outdated information, wrongfully placed markers (unless we made honest mistakes), or markers without clearly explaining what you should do when you get to those locations on the map. Furthermore, most locations come with clear screenshots from the games you are tracking. Obviously, you can track your progress, add notes, reset your progress on a game, and much, much more. Last but not least, we don't charge users for tracking locations. Simply put, if you register on our website, you can mark all locations for free. Registration is required to track your progress. Now, without further ado, here is the list of game maps we currently completed, our current projects, and what the future holds. I'll keep this thread updated and looking forward to your suggestions: Completed Game Maps: Red Dead Redemption 1 Dying Light Tunic Kena: Bridge of Spirits Ghost of Tsushima Sonic Frontiers PoP: The Lost Crown Tales of Kenzera: Zau Rise of the Ronin Interactive Game Maps Under Development: Elden Ring Assassin's Creed Valhalla (Ireland is completed) Grand Theft Auto 5 Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn Dragon's Dogma 2 Future Maps: Black Myth: Wu Kong Star Wars Outlaws Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2 Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Assassin’s Creed Shadows Dragon Age 4: The Veilguard God of War: Ragnarok So, what do you guys think? Let me know your thoughts. Your feedback is greatly appreciated.
    • @brandon wow! I never thought of that! Playing as a prostitute. But how about Jason? 😏
    • I would really like to become a prostitute in GTA 6 I think that's what everyone wants to play as a prostitute I know there's going to be a female character but if your able to be able to be a prostitute then I think that would be a good idea or there could be random encounters if you were to be a prostitute like one of the people that you work with as a prostitute could be a serial killer or another one be a cop or another one be a military or another one be a billionaire or a kidnaper you get the point
