  1. @brandon wow! I never thought of that! Playing as a prostitute. But how about Jason? 😏
  2. Despite having only 90 seconds of GTA 6 in the first trailer, fans have already gained so much knowledge about the game’s map. After looking through all of it and watching the trailer countless times, we will dissect every bit of those 90 seconds to give you everything there’s to know about GTA 6’s map. GTA 6’s Map Size GTA 6’s map takes us back to the iconic Vice City, which is heavily based on the city of Miami in Florida. However, it extends to include the entire state of Leonida, which is essentially Rockstar’s version of Florida. As such, we should expect to see in-game variations about iconic locations in Florida like Palm Beach, Fort Myers, Key West, Dodge Island, Lake Okeechobee, and Fort Lauderdale. So, based on how the game is scaling its map to an almost 1:1 ratio and how Florida’s actual area is 65,757 square miles (170,311 square km), we expect GTA 6’s map to be at least 61,000 square miles (160,000 square km). In comparison, GTA 4’s Liberty City was sized at around 6 square miles (15.54 square kilometers). GTA 5’s Los Santos was significantly larger than GTA 4 at 49 square miles (127 square kilometers). So, while GTA 6’s map isn’t as much of a jump from GTA 5 (compared to GTA 5’s jump from GTA 4), it’s still larger than both maps combined, with 6 square miles (or another GTA 4 map) to spare! All the Major Locations We Know So Far GTA 5 was the first in the franchise to introduce fictional counties into the map, which includes Los Santos County and Blaine County. As to be expected from the Rockstar Games’ progression scale, there will be a step forward. Based on the trailer, we concluded that we have three counties in GTA 6 and a giant lake in the middle of the map. Here’s our breakdown: Vice Dale County We can tell Vice Dale County is present because it’s written on the Sheriff's badge. It’s in a news report on a prisoner who seems to be heavily inspired by the Florida Joker. You can check the badge at minute 1:04 of the trailer. It only appears for a brief moment before it’s covered by an overlay, so you might want to slow down the video to 0.25 to catch it. This section will likely contain the city and outskirts of Miami Dale County. Leonard County Another difficult catch that needs 0.25 speed is the Leonard Country written on a police car at 0:49. It’s the shot where a fictional video clip by a user named PlanetLeonidaMan is taking a video of a police officer chasing a suspect in a gas station. The blue and yellow coloring of the station is mostly a reference to the Sunoco Gas Station chain, which is present all over the United States. With some research, we found that there are no Sunoco gas stations in the southwestern area since it’s mostly swamps. So, since Vice Dale County is likely to include the entirety of the east coast, we can assume that Leonard County is the northwest area of the map. Kelly County Kelly County’s clue appears immediately after Leonard County’s clue at 0:51. In another fictional clip by GeneralCustardCannon, you can see the name “Kelly County” in the background on a reflective road sign (the right one). You can catch another much clearer glimpse at another Kelly County road sign at 0:25. By the method of elimination, we can assume that Kelly County is the section of the map inspired by Florida’s Everglades area and will be in the southwestern swampy area of the map. Lake Leonida (Unconfirmed Name) According to the leaked map we got in 2022 (picture below), there’s a giant lake in the middle of the map, which mostly resembles Lake Okeechobee in real life. Leaks can be a hit or miss, but Lake Leonida is the name we got from the leak, so take it with a grain of salt for now. To summarize, the entirety of the east coast will be coveted by Vice Dale County, the Everglades to the southwest will be Kelly County, and the Outskirts of Leonard County will be in the Northwest of the map. Finally, we have Lake Leonida in the center of the upper half of the map. Additional Locations From the Trailer Now that the large sections of the map are covered let’s take a look at individual buildings, streets, and locations that are either present or referenced in the trailer. Buildings The 500 Brickell The 500 Brickell is one of Miami’s most iconic skyscrapers. Rockstar didn’t even try to hide the fact that it’s adapting a structure on it, as it created an identical model of the building in the trailer. You can identify the building at 0:18 by spotting that signature gaping hole in the connecting roof. GTA is no stranger to providing players with apartments to stay in. With all the effort that went into modeling the building, we trust that players will have at least one purchasable apartment in the 500 Brickell. The Atlantis Condominium The Atlantis Condominium is another signature building in Miami that GTA 6 has taken some inspiration from. Unlike the 500 Brickell, the building looks slightly different. The original Atlantis Condominium is wide and has a hole in the middle, but the building in the game is seemingly a skyscraper that’s fairly taller than the Atlantis but has that same defining hole in the middle. You can spot it at 0:26 on the right side of the screen. E11EVEN (NINE1NINE) The very beginning of the trailer at 0:14 shows Miami Beach, or Vice Beach, in a fantastic shot. But if you look at the top right corner of the screen, you’ll see a banner attached to a plane that reads “NINE1NINE.” The only real-life variant of a similar club in Miami is the famous nightclub that goes by the name E11EVEN. We still don’t know where exactly the NINE1NINE will be, but it’s safe to say that it’s the in-game variant of the real thing. Kaseya Center This is the second time we refer to 0:26, but this time, we’re looking at the famous Miami Basketball Arena: the Kaseya Center. If you look right behind the girl waving her arms, you’ll see the circular appearance of the arena, along with some additional neon lights that aren’t present in the real building. The King of Diamonds It’s hard for GTA to be GTA without exotic clubs. GTA 6’s adaptation of its biggest exotic club seems to be inspired by Miami’s King of Diamonds. However, we don’t think much romance will be available there since Jason and Lucia seem to be already committed to each other in the trailer. Streets Wynwood Street The Wynwood is a famous street in Miami with gatherings of people, colorful cars, and lowriders. It’s not confirmed yet, but we think that the shot at 0:28 is Leonida’s replica of Wynwood Street. It could very much be a location where you get to upgrade your cars. Ocean Drive Since the game is based in Miami, it’s essentially for GTA 6 to include Ocean Drive, arguably the city’s most famous street. If you check the trailer at 0:32, you’ll see the high-end cars, gatherings, hotels, neon colors, and palm trees. It’s not a 1:1 replica, but it’s definitely Rockstar’s version of Ocean Drive Street. You can even spot the Boardwalk Hotel, which we think is the game’s version of the Colony Hotel. Locations Biscayne Island (City Island) In real life, Biscayne Island is the land area that connects Miami and the Beach. In the game’s map version, it’s named City Island, and it connects Vice City with Vice Beach. The Island isn’t an exact replica, but it successfully delivered the overall appearance in a way that can legitimately make it look like a real-life photo. Take 0:32, for example. The staircase-shaped building on the right side of the screen is almost identical to its real-life counterpart. Miami Beach (Vice Beach) The famous Vice Beach from 2002’s Vice City has had a complete overhaul. Instead of taking half the map in Vice City, GTA 6’s Vice Beach will have its own section to the east of the city as it is in real life. Port Miami (Port Vice City) Boats are a staple in the GTA franchise, and Port Vice City will have tons of boats that you can…borrow. We’re almost sure it’ll be named Port Vice City because of the shot at 0:24. Take a look at that blue shipping container attached to the crane with PVC written on it. Miami International Airport (Vice City International Airport) We weren’t sure whether to include this one because it’s basically guaranteed for airports to be present in GTA games. They’ve always been a hub of all the crazy stuff players can do and the endless airport trolling in GTA Online. GTA 6 will likely use Miani’s International Airport as its biggest one, with a few smaller ones scattered around for private jet lovers. Final Words It’s surprising how many details Rockstar managed to condense in 90 seconds, but we’re all there for it. It’ll mostly be a while before we get our hands on the second trailer, but once we do, we’ll break it down piece by piece.
  3. After over a decade of waiting, Rockstar Games finally announced that GTA 6 is in the works. The company unveiled a trailer that gave us a look at what we can expect from the game. From the playable characters to some locations, the trailer was chock-full of juicy details. This left the GTA fandom in a frenzy. Plus, with the news of GTA 6’s upcoming release, fans all over the globe have started wondering how much the game will cost. If that sounds like you, we can help! In this article, we’ll walk you through everything you need to know about the Grand Theft Auto 6 price tag. GTA 6 Rumored Price Fans have waited over 10 years for news about GTA 6. So, it’s no surprise that people have started speculating about the price tag of the highly anticipated game. So here’s a quick look at the information circulating online. There are a few rumors floating around suggesting the latest version of Grand Theft Auto will cost around $150 or more. This came as a major blow to many fans. With the rising cost of games and consoles, many people were inclined to believe this figure. However, there’s more to the story! As we all know, we can’t take any information online at face value. That’s especially true when we’re talking about one of the most highly anticipated games in recent history. Niche Gamer originally shared the rumor in a single line on their X account. Although, we didn’t get any further explanation, and there was no source cited. From that, we can assume that the rumors are no more than hearsay. Source of GTA VI Price Rumors The rumors about the GTA price tag began circulating after Strauss Zelnick—Take-Two's CEO—sat down for an interview with Forbes in early November 2023. During the meeting, Zelnick spoke about the potential value of the GTA franchise. However, his comments were taken out of context and twisted into a misguided narrative. Some fans speculated that Strauss was referring to a switch-up in the pricing model of GTA. They even went as far as assuming the game would adopt a per-hour rate or be priced much higher than other similar games. This prompted the Take-Two CEO to release another statement. He went on to clarify that GTA 6 will include hundreds of hours of content packed within the cost of a video game. So his earlier comments merely allude to the fact that GTA 6 has a high earning potential, not that the game would be more expensive than average. Average Price Predictions Based on the pricing trend of previous AAA games, we can expect GTA 6 to cost around $69.99 for the standard release. This prediction should hold unless Rockstar Games changes its current pricing model. Plus, if we examine the GTA 5 releases, we can gather more details about the upcoming GTA 6 launch. For instance, GTA 5 came out with a total of three versions: ● Grand Theft Auto 5 ● GTA 5 Special Edition ● GTA 5 Collector's Edition Each one of these came with a unique price tag with the most expensive being the Collectors version at $149.99. So, while the standard version of GTA 6 likely won’t cost $150, we can’t rule out that a special version of the game won’t be that expensive. Wrapping Up Rockstar Games announced that the sixth installment of Grand Theft Auto will hit the markets sometime in 2025. It didn’t take long for fans to start speculating about the GTA 6 price tag. While some rumors state that the game will cost around $150, we can assume this is hearsay. The most likely scenario is that Grand Theft Auto 6 will cost about $69.99 based on previous AAA game releases.
  4. For a video that lasted 91 seconds, the official trailer of the upcoming GTA 6 sure took us on a wild road trip around Vice City. We saw hotels, clubs, beaches, airports, and more landmarks than we can count. Everyone was excited, with good reason. Will Rockstar Games give us an authentic depiction of Miami? If so, what other locations will the game include? That’s what we cover today. Let’s get right to it! 1. Vice Beach It wouldn’t be Vice City without the iconic Vice Beach. It’s one of the game’s most distinguished landmarks, and Rockstar Games has put in the effort to glamorize it in the trailer. It’s home to many of Vice City’s classic hotels and a haven for plenty of expensive cars you can steal whenever you want. You probably remember it taking half the map in GTA: Vice City. Given that this rendition is more realistic, we doubt it’ll take that much space. Here’s the thing: Vice Beach isn’t one location. It’s divided into South Beach, Mid Beach, and North Beach. 2. Ocean Drive Street You don’t have to be a GTA veteran to identify Ocean Drive. Full of stylish hotels with flashy neon lights, it’s probably the most famous street in Miami. The scene plays on nostalgia, as Ocean Drive is where you had to go to save your progress in the 2002 game. You’d be hard-pressed to find another street that perfectly encapsulates the wild, neon-soaked streets of Vice City like this one. 3. The Hotel Dixon The luxurious Hotel Dixon makes one of the most prominent appearances in the trailer. You can see it in the Ocean Drive scene at 0:33, displaying its name in bright neon lights. Hotel Dixon is inspired by Hotel Victor, located on Ocean Drive, South Beach. The building has a similar architectural style and uses a similar font to display its name. Fun fact: Hotel Victor didn’t always adopt the Art Deco style you know today. It underwent multiple renovations to reach its current look, which blends seamlessly with the Vice City style. 4. Boardwalk Hotel Boardwalk Hotel is at the center of the Ocean Drive scene. It’s based on the famous Colony Hotel, which opened in 1935 and has remained one of Miami’s distinguished landmarks ever since. Fans believe a location this influential will probably have a crucial role in the upcoming game. 5. Bayfront Heights Bayfront Heights is one of the first locations we see in the trailer. The structure hasn’t appeared in the previous games, so the GTA community doesn’t know much about it. Its architectural style is based on the Royal Palm South Beach Miami resort, and it appears to be on the north side of Vice Beach. Whether players can rent/buy apartments in that complex is still a mystery. 6. The Honda Bridge We see the Honda Bridge at a dynamic bird-eye angle, with boats cruising around it and a plane flying over it. That bridge connects the Bahia Honda Key and the Spanish Harbor Key. It quickly shut down after the construction of the Bahia Honda Bridge, though. If you take a close look at the scene, you’ll notice a missing section from the bridge. That’s not an error on the creators’ part. It’s a clever design choice to allow the boats to move freely. 7. Kelly County It’s hard to notice the Kelly County road sign in the trailer. Do you remember the scene with the large man grabbing his crotch? It was right behind him. We bet most viewers didn’t even know it was there. It’s hard to connect that county to a real-life location, as the name is too generic. Some have theorized it might be a reimagining of Collier County because the pronunciation of their names is a bit similar. That theory doesn’t hold much ground, though. 8. Vice-Dale County Unlike Kelly County, we can easily say that Vice-Dale County is based on the real-life Miami-Dade County. That’s where the city and much of the Everglades lay, so fans believe most of the game’s story will take place there. 9. VCI Airport Displayed on the same road sign as Kelly County, “VCI Airport” refers to Vice City International Airport. Fun fact: The international airport in the 2002 Vice City game was called Escobar International. The new label makes more sense, though, since Vice City is inspired by Miami, which has an airport called Miami International Airport. 10. The Kaseya Center The Kaseya Center is another landmark that makes a special appearance in the trailer. You can see it in one of the opening scenes, where a girl in a yellow dress is in the passenger seat of a convertible enjoying a wild ride. Located in Biscayne Bay, the Kaseya Center is the biggest indoor stadium in Florida, famous for being home to the Miami Heat. Seeing the arena in the trailer was exciting but not surprising. Sports have been part of the franchise since the good old San Andreas days. Of course, whether players will be able to access the building or not is still up for debate. Either way, it shows how hard the Rockstar Games team has worked to bring an authentic Miami experience. 11. The MacArthur Causeway The MacArthur Causeway is the highway we see at 0:25, the scene with the girl in the yellow dress. Connecting Downtown Miami and Miami Beach, it’s probably the most famous and crowded highway in the city. So, we recommend steering away from it if you’re trying to escape the cops. That chase won’t last long. 12. Miami’s Art District Although we only see it for a couple of seconds, Vice City’s mysterious Art District lights up the trailer with vibrant murals and flashy cars. The fans believe this neighborhood is based on Miami’s Wynwood, an iconic district famous for its colorful murals. With stunning bars, trendy restaurants, and a thriving art culture, that district perfectly represents the Miami-inspired Vice City. 13. 500 Brickell Condominium The 500 Brickell Condominium is one of Miami’s most famous landmarks. No one can miss that unique connecting roof with the giant hole in the middle. Buying luxurious apartments has always been one of GTA’s most rewarding features. So, imagine how excited the fans were when they saw the giant complex in the trailer. How exciting would it be if it’s the hideout of one of the game’s iconic villains? It’s the perfect spot for a dramatic confrontation, so we can’t wait to see what Rockstar has for us. 14. Catalan Boulevard Blink, and you’ll miss the Catalan Boulevard road sign in the MacArthur Causeway scene. We’ve never seen that location in the original Vice City game, which is exciting because it proves the map is expanding in the new installment. Fans are theorizing it might be based on Biscayne Boulevard in Miami. The word “Biscayne” refers to the inhabitants of Basque, while “Catalan” refers to the people of Catalonia. 15. Port Vice City Port Vice City made a memorable appearance in the trailer, with several boats engaging in a high-speed chase in front of it. That kind of action made people think it might have a role in the story rather than being another location on the map. Even if it doesn’t, who wouldn’t want to go on a thrilling boat ride away from all the guns and violence? Needless to say, everyone is thrilled to see its new rendition in the game. 16. Little Haiti You were probably distracted by the dirt bikers riding recklessly at 1:06 to notice the Haitian flag in the background. That suggests the scene took place in Little Haiti, a real neighborhood in Miami. It made its first appearance in the original Vice City, and the architectural style of its buildings hasn’t changed much in the new installment. 17. Leonard County Do you think Kelly County didn’t get enough space in the trailer? Well, Leonard County isn’t any different. You may have noticed the PlanetLeonidaMan social media clip at 0:50, where a cop is chasing a woman in front of a gas station. If you take a close look at the cop’s car, you’ll notice Leonard County written on its side. The county consists of several small towns like Stockyard Downtown, Hamlet, Waning Sands, and more. Wrapping Up There you go. We’ve dissected every second of the GTA 6 trailer to identify as many locations as possible. Of course, we’ve barely scratched the surface. There are still more locations to cover. We just wanted to stick to the ones whose identity is almost confirmed.
  5. Fans of the GTA series have been waiting over a decade for the new edition of the game. So, when news hit the internet of a massive leak, people went into a frenzy. They spent hours dissecting every frame of the leaked videos, trying to learn more about what GTA 6 has in store for us. From improved AI to stunning visuals, we got to see an early snippet of the new Vice City. One of the videos that got the most attention was the police chase footage. This was an action-packed scene that gave us a glimpse of what we can expect from the gameplay. If that piques your interest, you’ve come to the right place. In this article, we’ll walk you through everything we learned from the Grand Theft Auto 6 police chase footage. GTA 6 Leaks Overview Back in September 2022, Arion Kurtaj released never-before-seen footage of GTA 6. The 18-year-old hacker managed to get his hands on 3GBs of data about the game, including around 90 video files. This allowed fans to see an early version of what GTA 6 may look like. Some of the videos gave us information on character backstories and the potential landscape of the map. However, as you can imagine, the action scenes were the most viewed. That’s because these showcased what it may be like to play the game. One scene in particular, the police chase footage, made quite a buzz on the internet. Grand Theft Auto 6 Police Chase Footage Overview If you’re a fan of GTA, you know that police chase scenes are a staple of the game. They’re usually thrilling, with a hint of suspense. So, the leaked GTA 6 police chase footage spread like wildfire. Let’s paint the scene. The video starts with Lucia, the female protagonist, shooting at two pursuing cop cars from the back of a pickup truck. We then see the lead driving around Vice City to escape being arrested. The clips show us glimpses of the fancy new streets and some potential points of interest. While the sequence is on the shorter side, it suggests that evading the law may be a tough challenge in the next installment of GTA. For starters, the cops can now recognize your vehicle, and they will remember you, according to PS Dev Nima. This means that respraying your car to get away is no longer an option. Plus, the police cars take time to arrive at your location rather than respawning out of nowhere. We also see the cops behaving much more realistically than in GTA 5. This came as a welcomed surprise to fans everywhere. Finally, most of the footage appears to be from the pre-alpha stage of GTA 6. But, from what we can see, it seems like we can expect improved AI systems from the upcoming game. Wrapping Up The GTA 6 police chase footage is one of the most interesting clips to come out of the massive leak that occurred in September 2022. From the videos, we can see Lucia being chased by two police cars throughout Vice City. Even though the footage was only a few minutes long, it gave us a glimpse at the excitement that GTA 6 has in store for us.
  6. On December 5, 2023, Rockstar Games finally stopped teasing its fans and released the official trailer of its upcoming game, GTA 6. Despite only lasting a minute and a half, the trailer captured the essence of the GTA franchise. It had stunning cars, reckless stunts, and suspicious nightclubs. That last one, in particular, caught the attention of the die-hard fans. Why, you ask? That’s what we’ll highlight today. We’ll dissect GTA 6’s nightclub footage to identify where the controversy is coming from. What Nightclubs Appeared in the Trailer? The nightclub footage made quite a fuss because it played on nostalgia, bringing back the memories of the legendary Vice City game. Let’s see how. The Malibu Club One of the notable scenes in the trailer involved a bustling nightclub with a DJ mixing music and people dancing on the floor. The scene didn’t include the name of that club, but veterans think it’s a modern reimagining of the iconic Malibu Club. The Malibu Club is a local bar/nightclub that first appeared in GTA: Vice City. It was one of the many buildings you could buy in the game and the base of several missions. These include No Escape?, The Shootist, The Driver, and The Job. As you can see, it holds a special place in players’ hearts because it brings back childhood memories. So, fans were excited to know Rockstar Games might bring it back in its upcoming game. The Pole Position Club It wouldn’t be a GTA game without at least one exotic dancing club. The one that appeared in the trailer has a “Make It Rain Monday,” which is self-explanatory. The scene shows dancers in a poorly lit room, visitors throwing cash all over the place, and people celebrating with fireworks. The clip only lasts a couple of seconds, but it perfectly captures the wild party life associated with that franchise. We don’t know the name of that club as well, but you can’t keep GTA fans in the dark for long. Players have theorized it might be the Pole Position Club. Located in Ocean Beach, that club is one of the earliest assets you could purchase in the original Vice City game. Of course, these are all just theories. No one can say for sure until the game comes out or another snippet is leaked. It wouldn’t be surprising if it were, though. Rockstar Games has reimagined multiple beloved locations in the new installments of the series. So, why not this one? The Rooftop Bar This one isn’t a nightclub per se. It’s a rooftop bar with a pool. The trailer only depicts it during the day, but it emits nightclub vibes. It’s similar to the rooftop pool deck in Vice City. Fans still don’t know whether it’s one of the assets they can purchase later in the game or not. GTA 6’s nightclub footage hasn’t given us much to work with. We only saw snippets of what we assume are some of the most iconic venues in the Vice City game. Ultimately, we just have to wait and see what the upcoming game has to offer.
  7. The news of a massive GTA 6 leak hit the internet in September 2022 when an 18-year-old hacker shared footage of the game on social media. While this came as a significant blow to Rockstar Games, fans got a sneak peek at an early version of the gameplay. Not only did we get to meet the main protagonist, Lucia, but we also had the chance to see several in-game locations. From a modernized Vice City to the Malibu Club, the leaks shared quite a few details about the landscape of GTA 6. If this piques your interest, you’ve come to the right place. In this article, we’ll walk you through everything we know about the GTA 6 map leak. Grand Theft Auto 6 Leaks Overview The news about the GTA 6 leaks spread like wildfire. When 18-year-old hacker Arion Kurtaj released a 3GB file containing 90 videos of the highly anticipated game, fans spent hours dissecting every frame. This gave us a little insight into what we could expect from GTA 6. We met Lucia, the first female protagonist in the game’s history, and got to see what the landscape would potentially look like. That prompted Rockstar Games to release a 90-second trailer of GTA 6 ahead of schedule. While we can imagine that this wasn’t what the company intended, we got an early look at the locations available on the GTA 6 map. Details Revealed in the GTA 6 Map Leaks Thanks to the trailer and the leaks, we found out quite a few details about the locations in the latest version of Grand Theft Auto. So, here’s a quick look at all the areas we learned about from the GTA 6 map leak: Map Locations From the GTA 6 leaks, we know that the game will take us back to the brazen Vice City, which is a fictionalized version of Miami. The map also seeps into the surrounding swamps, based on the Everglades in Florida. Vice Dale is Rockstar’s fictionalized version of Miami-Dade County. It’s also the home of the most exciting hub in GTA, Vice City. While many of us are already familiar with the area and the surrounding landscape from GTA: Vice City, the latest edition of the game promises a modern twist on the locations. This includes streets soaked in neon lights, pristine beaches, and flashy cars, just to name a few highlights. Plus, the latest version of Vice City will feature many points of interest, such as: ● NINE1NINE: An over-the-top version of the high-end nightclub E11EVEN. This location showcases entertainment reimagined as the world’s only 24/7 ultra-club. ● Basketball Arena: Based on the Kaseya Center and makes a brief appearance in the trailer. ● Twin-Tower Condo Block: Recognizable by its connecting roof with a massive hole in the middle, the condo block promises to play a big role in the latest edition of GTA. ● Vice City International Airport: Just like GTA 5, we can expect to see the Vice City airport and may even get the opportunity to steal a plane. Other than that, we can look forward to seeing two new counties, Leonard County and Kelly County. Map Size According to a prominent leak, the GTA 6 map is set to be almost twice the size of its predecessor. This translates to an area of around 40 square miles. That means you’ll have plenty of legroom to run around and explore new locations. To top it all off, with a larger map, there are endless opportunities for new missions and objectives. Wrapping Up Thanks to the GTA 6 map leak, we learned quite a few details about the in-game locations. For starters, we found out that we’ll be going back to Vice City in the modern era. On top of that, there are countless areas in Vice Dale County to explore. That includes the Basketball Arena, Twin-Tower Condo Block, and NINE1NINE. Finally, the GTA 6 map should be about twice the size of the GTA 5 map.

However, if we go by past GTA releases, we can expect the game to launch on consoles first before arriving on PC at a later date. Sadly, this means we may have to wait a couple of years before the computer version is available to the public. Characters Overview For starters, the main protagonist of the game is Lucia. While we don’t know her full backstory, she appears in the trailer wearing a prison jumpsuit. So, we know she’s had a few run-ins with the law. Besides that, we can see the female lead with an unnamed male character on several occasions. Some reports refer to the male protagonist as Jason, while others call him James, but his official name was never discussed. Lastly, it seems like Lucia and the other lead share a Bonnie and Clyde-like bond. Locations Overview It’s no surprise that GTA 6 is taking us back to Vice City. Yet, while the original installment of Grand Theft Auto featured the location in 1986, the new release appears to be set in modern times. Plus, the trailer reveals a rural take on Florida that’s just as chaotic as the real state. We even get to see a few familiar spots like Starfish Island. However, it’s unclear if we’ll be able to visit all the original locations from early GTA versions, like Malibu Club and Ocean View Hotel. Grand Theft Auto VI Trailer The first GTA 6 trailer gave us a look at what Vice City will look like and confirmed the identity of the protagonists. It also allowed us to see a sneak peek of what the game had in store for us. On top of that, this trailer set the tone for the scenery and visuals of GTA 6. Wrapping Up In September 2022, news broke of a massive GTA 6 leak. An 18-year-old hacker released many details about the game before the trailer was even out. This included information on the locations, characters, and even basic gameplay. Shortly after, Rockstar Games released the official trailer and announced the game would arrive sometime in 2025.
  9. Fans of the GTA series have been waiting over a decade for the next installment of the game. While Rockstar Games has remained tight-lipped about the release date, people got to see an early version of Grand Theft Auto 6. This was because of a massive leak by 18-year-old hacker Arion Kurtaj. At the time, Arion Kurtaj, an 18-year-old hacker, had released a 3GB file on social media containing 90 videos, each showcasing a different aspect of the highly anticipated game. While fans questioned the validity of these leaks at first, they found out they were real rather quickly. After news of the leaks broke, Rockstar Games released an official trailer for GTA 6 that confirmed the leaked footage was authentic. GTA 6 Setting From the leaks, we can gather that GTA 6 will take place in Vice City, just like its predecessor. However, this time around, the game offers an added twist. Rather than a 1986 setting, GTA 6 will take us to a modern version of Vice City, filled with neon-soaked streets and fancy cars. The leaks also suggest the GTA 6 map will be twice the size of the GTA 5 map. GTA VI Characters The GTA 6 leaked footage also gave us a little insight into our protagonists. The two have a Bonnie and Clyde-like relationship that leads to all sorts of mischief. Wrapping Up Thanks to the Grand Theft Auto 6 leaked footage, fans got to see a sneak peek of what the game will look like. 10. With GTA 6’s original trailer causing a lot of hype, fans are wondering how much Rockstar Games will charge them for the pre-orders. If you’ve been in the gaming community long enough, you know how controversial pre-orders have been. Some say they’re worth it. Others say they’re too risky. Where does GTA 6 fall in all of this? Let’s find out! Grand Theft Auto 6 Fans Are Hesitant to Pre-Order the Game Yes, most gamers seem hesitant to pre-order Rockstar Games’ new golden child. Let’s see why. The Game Wouldn’t Meet Their Expectations If you’re new to the gaming industry, here’s how things work: The studio promises a perfect game and asks you to pre-order it in exchange for exclusive perks. You trust the developers, pre-order it, and receive a flawless product along with all the extra content they promised. Then, everyone lives happily ever after. Psych! That’s not how it goes. The first part is true; studios ask you to pre-order their video games in exchange for extra features. However, the product they offer on the official release date isn’t always perfect. It can even be an unplayable mess with too many bugs to count. That’s why many gamers are hesitant to pre-order the upcoming GTA 6. They don’t know what they’ll get, and they can’t ask for a refund after the launch. Besides, after receiving enough pre-orders, no one can stop the studio from releasing an unfinished game. So, now they’re at the mercy of Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive. They’ll have to wait for the developers to fix the bugs, which could take a week, a month, or a year. The Game Would Be Too Expensive Despite all the excitement the game has caused, Rockstar Games still hasn’t given us any hints regarding the coveted pre-order information. You know what gamers are like, though. Lack of information has never stopped them from theorizing. GTA 6 is a AAA game. So, the fans believe pre-ordering it will cost as much as any other AAA game. That’s usually $60-80 for the standard edition and $100-110 for the special edition. Well, that may not be the case here. In 2023, The Economist posted an article claiming GTA 6 might be the most expensive game ever made. Apparently, it cost Rockstar Games $1-2 billion. That was troubling news for the gaming community. A game that cost that much would never be $60-110. Fellow fans now think it might go over the average price, costing $150 or more. It wouldn’t make sense to pay that much for a game that hasn’t come out yet. Some Fans Want the Extra Features No matter how much you think pre-ordering is illogical, there will always be die-hard gamers who want to play the game with the extra bells and whistles. GTA fans are no different. They have complete faith in Rockstar Games to deliver a high-quality product from the launch day. It may not make perfect sense to you, but these people have a point, to an extent. You saw how gorgeous the aforementioned trailer looked. Besides, the studio has given us some of the most stunning games in history. It’s not unreasonable to think the upcoming installment will be less impressive Ultimately, we don’t know what GTA 6 will be on its actual release day. It might be perfect, or it might be a complete disaster. You have all the information you need to decide whether you should pre-order it or not.
  11. Parents who don’t want their youngsters to play the upcoming GTA 6, today is your lucky day. New facial recognition technology just dropped, and it might just be what you’re looking for. It’s certainly got people in the gaming community talking, so you know its creators mean business. Is it that serious, though? Let’s find out! Introducing the New Feature A few months ago, a controversial rumor took the gaming community by storm. It implied that ESRP planned to use new facial recognition technology to scan people’s faces before buying a video game. The public believed the purpose of this feature was to determine if the games being bought were appropriate for the players’ age. Needless to say, not everyone was a fan of that initiative. GTA Fans’ Reaction to the Rumors GTA players were worried, with good reason. The franchise doesn’t have the most family-friendly reputation. With Rockstar Games’ GTA 6 coming out next year, some fans were worried the new feature might prevent them from buying it. They also feared implementing such technology would take too much time and money, delaying the release of the game and raising its price. Besides, that’s AI we’re talking about. You know how controversial that topic has been these past couple of years. The gaming community expressed numerous concerns. What if that technology was used to track users without their consent? What if the software makes a mistake and prevents users from accessing their accounts? There were too many vague aspects in that initiative that put gamers on the edge. Why Did ESRP Enforce Facial Recognition? As the rumor gained momentum, ESRP finally released an official statement. Apparently, the facial recognition software doesn’t scan users’ faces to determine if they’re old enough to buy mature games. It uses the image to identify the users’ age and ensure they’re complying with the Children Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). The COPPA law prevents companies from collecting information from children under 13 without parental consent. What does this have to do with the gaming community? When you register for a gaming service, companies usually ask you to create a profile. That includes filling in personal information, like your email and maybe home address. These studios can use that information to send relative promotional emails, like account updates or offers on in-game items. Here’s the thing: If you’re 18 or older, you’re officially an adult and have the right to consent to such an act. However, we all know not everyone playing GTA is an adult. Minors who consent to having their information collected might not be fully aware of what they’re agreeing to. That’s where the facial recognition feature comes in. Will This Feature Apply to GTA Players Around the World? A few content creators have made videos claiming youngsters won’t be able to play the upcoming GTA 6, but that’s not necessarily true. Remember, ESRP only operates in the US, Canada, and Mexico. So, most countries won’t have to worry about that facial recognition technology. They might deal with other agencies enforcing other age restrictions, but that’s a story for another day. The new facial recognition technology has caused a lot of controversy in the gaming community. Although ESRP claims it only aims to ensure compliance with the COPPA rules, that hasn’t stopped people from expressing security concerns. We’ll just have to wait and see.
  12. Given that it might be the most expensive game ever made, fans couldn’t be more excited about the new GTA 6 coming out in 2025. The new city? The exciting story? The stunning dynamic weather? The hype is most definitely real! That last one, in particular, got a lot of hype in the gaming community. Apparently, gamers want to see heavy storms destroying everything in their way. Will they get that, though? Let’s find out! Fans’ Initial Speculations GTA 6 hasn’t come out yet. So, how does anyone know anything about its weather system? Well, in late 2022, Rockstar Games got hacked, which resulted in more than 90 videos and images of the game getting leaked. One of these images showed Lucia facing a violent thunderstorm. That snippet got people excited. Fans of the game expected to see more extreme weather dynamics. We’re talking hurricanes, tornadoes, thunderstorms, and other natural catastrophes that can prompt large-scale destruction and flooding. Yes, it sounds a bit psychotic to want that, but that’s part of the game’s appeal! We know what you’re thinking: “These images could have easily been fake. Why would the fans raise their expectations so much?” That’s a valid question, but it’s not just about the leaks. Let’s take a look at the facts. The Studio’s Report The fans’ speculations are all backed up by the fact Rockstar Games is using Rage 9 to develop the game. The studio claimed the new game engine will allow them to render and animate the water, clouds, and lighting more realistically. The weather won’t just be a visual element. It’ll affect the surrounding environment and the gameplay. Gusts of wind will disturb the quietness of the beach, and heavy rain will make driving more challenging. VFX Job Listings If you’ve been following Rockstar New England for a while now, you know they’ve made a few job listings where they called for VFX artists. These are the people responsible for creating the game’s weather effects, among other things. Here’s the thing: The listings indicated the developers have been working on an interactive weather system where extreme conditions will wreak havoc around the city. Naturally, that confirmed the initial speculations of the gaming community, believing they’d see twisters and heavy storms destroying neighborhoods. Miami’s Weather We know GTA 6’s Vice City is a parody of Miami. That’s a city famous for its extreme weather. We also know that just because the game takes place in a Miami parody doesn’t mean it’ll mimic its climate. That’s Rockstar Games we’re talking about, though! It’s the same studio that made Red Dead Redemption 2, one of the most realistic games the world has ever seen. So, it was reasonable to think the developers were aiming to bring an authentic experience. Miami is one of the most rain-heavy cities in the United States. We’re talking 61.9 inches per year. It also gets around 3 months of extreme thunderstorms accompanied by frequent lightning. You can also find the occasional violent tornadoes, waterspouts, and hails. Ultimately, Vice City is the perfect place to build a dynamic weather system. Recent Developments in the Weather Mechanics As you might’ve guessed, fans have been raising their expectations for a long time. However, everything changed when Rockstar Universe posted a controversial tweet. Rockstar Universe is a popular Rockstar Games information source. The tweet said the developers of the game scrapped the extreme weather features. That means the game will only include traditional weather conditions. No one knows why. The account said technical limitations could be the issue. It didn’t provide solid reasons. Attributing the issue to technical limitations is a valid excuse. After all, developing a realistic simulation of water, snow, wind, and lightning while creating a smooth gaming experience isn’t easy. That didn’t stop the fans from being outraged, though, with good reason. It’s 2024; gamers believe modern hardware is capable of rendering inclement weather. Everyone kept referencing Square Enix’s Just Cause 4. The game featured a multitude of weather scenarios, including blizzards, sandstorms, lightning storms, etc. Here’s the thing: Jacques Kerner, one of the software engineers who worked on the game, explained how the team achieved these weather conditions. The team had to work with wind patterns and aerodynamic models that wouldn’t work in GTA 6 because the game has different mechanics and algorithms. Adding Weather Variety After the Launch Rumor has it that Rockstar Games plans to release several updates after the game’s original launch. That would be a smart move; it’d allow them to implement the ideas they originally sought without overworking the developers. Who knows? Maybe one of those updates will involve weather variety. How Extreme Weather Might Affect Your Gameplay Let’s get real for a second. Yes, we all want to see violent tornadoes and heavy thunderstorms. These elements are visually stunning, but they might ruin your gaming experience, especially in the open-world section. Think about it: One of the major selling points of the GTA franchise is the freedom of the open world; you can break the law as much as you want. If you’re trying to escape the cops, however, and a random tornado appears out of nowhere and throws your car to the side, it’d ruin the thrill of the chase. These extreme weather conditions would be more suitable in climactic scenes to make them more engaging. Using them during the gameplay in a way that doesn’t disrupt the action would be ideal, but we can’t always get what we want. What GTA 6’s Weather Will Be Like Sure, the lack of extreme weather conditions is disappointing, but that doesn’t mean the climate won’t be visually appealing. Rockstar Games always delivers. GTA 5 had some of the most stunning fog and rain effects we’ve seen at that time, and Red Dead Redemption 2 was even more impressive. There’s no reason to believe the studio will deliver something any less appealing. It also doesn’t mean we won’t see any storms at all. They just won’t be as frequent as the fans originally believed. That shouldn’t affect your gaming experience that much. Wrapping Up GTA 6’s dynamic weather plans raised the fans’ expectations, only to disappoint them after being mysteriously dropped. It shouldn’t be that big of a deal, though, as most games don’t have that feature anyway. The game might still include impressive weather effects. We’ll just have to wait and see.
  13. Although the new GTA 6 trailer has made a lot of fuss, it kept numerous aspects of the game under wraps. Is there an online mode? Will the studio enable cross-platform functionality? That last one, in particular, got people wondering. Unfortunately, you might have to continue wondering for a while. Let’s see what that means. What Is Cross-Platform Functionality? The name sounds complicated, but the concept is quite simple. Cross-platform games allow players who use different gaming platforms to connect. For instance, if you’re playing a cross-platform game on Xbox, you can connect with people using PlayStation or PC and play together. Despite its simplicity, cross-platform functionality was a revolutionary initiative. It allowed for a collective gameplay experience, entertaining millions of players throughout the years. Will Grand Theft Auto 6 Be Cross-Platform? There isn’t a definitive answer to that question, as Rockstar Games hasn’t made any official announcements regarding cross-platform functionality, but we know that there won’t be a PC version at launch. Only consoles: PlayStation 5 and Xbox X/S. On that account, it looks like the feature isn’t a priority for the studio at the moment. It’s worth noting that none of the previous installments in that iconic franchise had that feature, not even GTA Online. That means it’s less likely the upcoming game will include it. However, GTA 6 is meant to be Rockstar Games’ golden child; the crème de la crème. It’s reasonable to think it’ll have features the previous installments didn’t. So, crossplay functionality isn’t entirely out of the equation. Besides, countless popular games have included that feature in recent years, so the studio may want to keep up with the new trends. Why Cross-Platform Functionality May Not Work in GTA 6 Although fans love that feature, several reasons could prevent the studio from adding it. PC Advantage Whether you’re a PlayStation or an Xbox fan, no one can deny PC gamers would have an advantage in cross-platform gaming. Console controllers can’t compete with the accuracy of the keyboard and mouse, which would put PC players ahead of everyone else. That doesn’t make for a fun gaming experience, and it’s one of the main reasons why PC and console gamers are at war. Potential Hacks You’ve probably already heard of modding before. It’s a common term that refers to modifying the content of the game without the developers’ permission. This phenomenon has existed in the gaming community for a while now, and it’s made several studios angry. It’s probably why Rockstar Games doesn’t want to add the cross-platform feature. It’d ruin the experience for those who wanted to enjoy the game the way its developers made it. Processing Power PlayStation, Xbox, and PC have different processing powers, so they all perform at different rates. Naturally, when users of these platforms play together, a few of them will be at a disadvantage. In most cases, that would probably be the console players. We’re not saying PC is inherently better, as that depends on its specs. However, a premium PC will outperform a premium console any day. So, it makes sense not to include the cross-platform feature. We don’t know if Grand Theft Auto 6 will be cross-platform. The signs indicate it probably won’t happen, as it’d put PC gamers at an unwanted advantage. No one knows what Rockstar Games is planning, though. They might have a pleasant surprise for us.
  14. Many game studios allow their gaming community to go into public closed and open beta testing to enjoy the game and provide feedback while doing so. If you’re familiar with Triple-A EA games like Call of Duty, Star Wars, and Battlefield, then you have mostly heard about their beta testing shortly before the game’s release. But can we expect the same from Rockstar and experience a GTA 6 Beta? Is the GTA VI Beta Available? If you Google Grand Theft Auto 6 Beta, you’ll be surprised by the number of pages that allow you to “download GTA 6 Beta.” You’ll even find websites telling you to download APK versions and pre-order the game's beta version. If you’re reading this, we warn you against these websites. They’re either viruses, spam, or money scams. In most cases, you’ll end up downloading a zipped file that asks you to pay to reveal the password. As of February 8, 2024, there is no confirmed way to participate in the closed beta for GTA 6 because Rockstar Games hasn’t announced a closed beta for the game. Will There Be a Closed Beta for Grand Theft Auto 6? GTA 6 will definitely be tested extensively prior to release, but it’s unlikely that Rockstar will announce a public closed beta test. Rockstar Games typically prefers keeping its development process under the radar. Going back to GTA 4 and GTA 5, Rockstar had instances of limited access granted to certain individuals or groups before the official release. This might have caused some confusion, as people may think that it was a public closed beta, which wasn’t the case. Rockstar does allow testing, but not to widespread public testers like other game studios. Typically, individuals who can get a “beta” version of the game include: Social Media Influencers Rockstar can provide early access to selected missions or sections in the game to gaming influencers for preview purposes under NDAs (non-disclosure agreements). Internal Testing Programs Rockstar most likely employs internal testing programs with their own employees or a limited pool of testers before a wider release. Modding Community In rare cases, some members of the modding community can receive early access to specific game assets for research purposes. We can never know for sure if this has happened within Rockstar or not, as such access is often under a strict NDA. So, while GTA 6 will most definitely undergo extensive testing among select individuals, it’s unlikely that we’ll receive a public closed beta unless Rockstar decides to change its approach this time around. Until we get another update, that’s all we know. We’d love to tell you that you’ll have access to a public closed beta of GTA 6 if you wait. But considering Rockstar’s pattern so far, that is currently unlikely. We’re yet to receive an official announcement from Rockstar beyond the official trailer and the new page on their website. Who knows, maybe we’ll get to experience parts of the game this time around. All we can do for now is to wait.
  15. The widely successful Grand Theft Auto series is set to make a comeback with the release of the new installment GTA 6 sometime in 2025. This would be the first version of the game to come out in the past decade. So, when Rockstar Games shared the official trailer, it broke viewership records on YouTube. The video showcased stunning visuals, thrilling action, and a brand-new modern twist on the beloved Vice City. While this got fans excited about the game, people couldn’t help but wonder how much GTA cost to make. So, if you want to learn more about the production expenses of the game, you’ve come to the right place. In this article, we’ll walk you through everything we know about GTA 6 costs. GTA VI Rumored Budget After watching the GTA 6 trailer and leaked footage, people quickly took notice of the breathtaking visuals and smooth gameplay. That led thousands of fans to speculate about the production costs of the game. Well, according to several reports, GTA 6 is rumored to have cost upwards of $2 billion to make. This includes the development and the accompanying marketing campaign. While that may seem like an enormous figure, we have to take into account quite a few factors. For starters, a short glance at the official GTA 6 trailer will show you how much work went into making this game. Every scene is expertly directed, and the visuals are out of this world. Plus, even though we only recently heard about the potential release date of GTA 6, Rockstar Games has been working on development since 2014. Lastly, the $2 billion price tag makes GTA 6 one of the most expensive entertainment products of all time. However, there’s no doubt Rockstar Games will make its money back. Not only is the GTA franchise renowned worldwide, but it also already has a massive fanbase. Potential Revenue To say that the GTA 6 release is highly anticipated would be a massive understatement. Fans have waited for the game on pins and needles for over a decade. So, expectations are through the roof, not only for graphics and gameplay but also for the game’s business potential. Experts are speculating that GTA 6 may potentially make over $1 billion within 24 hours of its launch. This means the game would cover half its production costs on the first day of release. After that, there’s no telling how high the profits will soar. Although, a look at GTA 5’s reported profits gives us a glimpse at GTA 6’s earning potential. According to Visual Capitalist, GTA 5 has made close to $8 billion, and we can only expect GTA 6 to surpass this figure. Wrapping Up If you’re wondering how much Grand Theft Auto 6 costs to make, there are a few factors you need to keep in mind. These include the development, marketing campaigns, and the amount of work that went into the visuals. According to many sources, GTA cost around $2 billion to make. This makes it one of the most expensive entertainment products of all time.
