  • With GTA 6’s original trailer causing a lot of hype, fans are wondering how much Rockstar Games will charge them for the pre-orders.

If you’ve been in the gaming community long enough, you know how controversial pre-orders have been. Some say they’re worth it. Others say they’re too risky.

Where does GTA 6 fall in all of this? Let’s find out!

Grand Theft Auto 6 Fans Are Hesitant to Pre-Order the Game

Yes, most gamers seem hesitant to pre-order Rockstar Games’ new golden child. Let’s see why.

The Game Wouldn’t Meet Their Expectations

If you’re new to the gaming industry, here’s how things work: The studio promises a perfect game and asks you to pre-order it in exchange for exclusive perks.

You trust the developers, pre-order it, and receive a flawless product along with all the extra content they promised. Then, everyone lives happily ever after.

Psych! That’s not how it goes. The first part is true; studios ask you to pre-order their video games in exchange for extra features.

However, the product they offer on the official release date isn’t always perfect. It can even be an unplayable mess with too many bugs to count.

That’s why many gamers are hesitant to pre-order the upcoming GTA 6. They don’t know what they’ll get, and they can’t ask for a refund after the launch.

Besides, after receiving enough pre-orders, no one can stop the studio from releasing an unfinished game. So, now they’re at the mercy of Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive.

They’ll have to wait for the developers to fix the bugs, which could take a week, a month, or a year.

The Game Would Be Too Expensive

Despite all the excitement the game has caused, Rockstar Games still hasn’t given us any hints regarding the coveted pre-order information. You know what gamers are like, though.

Lack of information has never stopped them from theorizing. GTA 6 is a AAA game. So, the fans believe pre-ordering it will cost as much as any other AAA game.

That’s usually $60-80 for the standard edition and $100-110 for the special edition. Well, that may not be the case here.

In 2023, The Economist posted an article claiming GTA 6 might be the most expensive game ever made. Apparently, it cost Rockstar Games $1-2 billion.

That was troubling news for the gaming community. A game that cost that much would never be $60-110. Fellow fans now think it might go over the average price, costing $150 or more.

It wouldn’t make sense to pay that much for a game that hasn’t come out yet.

Some Fans Want the Extra Features

No matter how much you think pre-ordering is illogical, there will always be die-hard gamers who want to play the game with the extra bells and whistles. GTA fans are no different.

They have complete faith in Rockstar Games to deliver a high-quality product from the launch day. It may not make perfect sense to you, but these people have a point, to an extent.

You saw how gorgeous the aforementioned trailer looked. Besides, the studio has given us some of the most stunning games in history. It’s not unreasonable to think the upcoming installment will be less impressive

Ultimately, we don’t know what GTA 6 will be on its actual release day. It might be perfect, or it might be a complete disaster. You have all the information you need to decide whether you should pre-order it or not.

    • Hello gamers! While waiting for new details on GTA6, I am happy to announce that today, we released a new project that means a lot to us (and hopefully to you). MapMaster.io is focused on providing top-notch interactive games for the latest video games. This project took over five months to develop by an awesome team from Ukraine (yes, during the war), but despite the minor bugs that still exist and are being fixed, the finished product is amazing. While there are other websites that currently provide interactive maps, MapMaster is a bit different, as I am sure you'll notice. First of all, we have a clean interface without all the bling bling that can distract users. Second (and this is far more important), our team has tested all locations on our growing library of video games. In other words, you won't find outdated information, wrongfully placed markers (unless we made honest mistakes), or markers without clearly explaining what you should do when you get to those locations on the map. Furthermore, most locations come with clear screenshots from the games you are tracking. Obviously, you can track your progress, add notes, reset your progress on a game, and much, much more. Last but not least, we don't charge users for tracking locations. Simply put, if you register on our website, you can mark all locations for free. Registration is required to track your progress. Now, without further ado, here is the list of game maps we currently completed, our current projects, and what the future holds. I'll keep this thread updated and looking forward to your suggestions: Completed Game Maps: Red Dead Redemption 1 Dying Light Tunic Kena: Bridge of Spirits Ghost of Tsushima Sonic Frontiers PoP: The Lost Crown Tales of Kenzera: Zau Rise of the Ronin Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn Cat Quest 3 Assassin's Creed Valhalla Black Myth: Wukong Star Wars Outlaws  Silent Hill 2 Remake Interactive Game Maps Under Development: S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl Dragon Age 4: The Veilguard Visions of Mana Elden Ring Grand Theft Auto 5 Dragon's Dogma 2 Future Maps: Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Assassin’s Creed Shadows Like a Dragon Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii Monster Hunter Wilds Ghost of Yotei Grand Theft Auto VI Sniper Elite: Resistance Mafia The Old Country So, what do you guys think? Let me know your thoughts. Your feedback is greatly appreciated.
    • @brandon wow! I never thought of that! Playing as a prostitute. But how about Jason? 😏
    • I would really like to become a prostitute in GTA 6 I think that's what everyone wants to play as a prostitute I know there's going to be a female character but if your able to be able to be a prostitute then I think that would be a good idea or there could be random encounters if you were to be a prostitute like one of the people that you work with as a prostitute could be a serial killer or another one be a cop or another one be a military or another one be a billionaire or a kidnaper you get the point
